Project info:

Our clients, a businessman with an architectural degree and keen eye for detail, and an artist with a passion for architecture and Asian influences, collaborated closely with us to develop a design that enhances natural light, improves overall well-being, and incorporates sustainable technologies to elevate the performance of the building.

By carefully studying the spatial layout, we introduced innovative internal openings, enabling the home to embrace natural light while providing flexibility with movable walls and glazed partitions. This approach allows the residents to manipulate light and space to suit their needs.

The interior design emphasizes elegance and minimalism, with shadow gaps replacing traditional cornices and skirting. This understated aesthetic serves as a neutral backdrop for the client’s art and bespoke joinery.

Inspired by Japanese design principles, we thoughtfully incorporated details such as decorative screens and garden mirrors, subtly evoking memories and adding layers of inspiration throughout the home.
